It is an old bowling alley. So it is a bit like going back in time, which is quite nice. Great prices and great atmosphere
I enjoy bowling at Sterling, but if you are a non-smoker, you will have a difficult time. That's my only personal issue with bowling at Sterling. It's a smoke pit. If you are a smoker and don't mind being around other smokers, you can't get much better.
Have been bowling here for my entire life. My grandparents bowled here and my parents met in this place. Lots of nice people

Hands down best "traditional" alley around KC. Excellent prices and this is not your common theme style place with other gimiky things to drain your pockets. Pro shop is very helpful and informative. Only negative thing is that it is a smoking environment which doesnt bother me personally but some feel otherwise as is their right. Other than that, this place rules and I would give 100 stars if Google would let me. Also good cheap food and they are always running specials. Check it out sometime...good for loners, couples, friends, parties....you name it.
